I’m the founder of Positive Dog, Podcaster, Dog Behaviour and Training Consultant, Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT) and proudly Brazilian. I specialise in well-mannered and happy dogs with more than 7 years of experience in dog behaviour. I believe in fear- and force free dog training and science-based training guides all I do. When training with a dog, I investigate all the possible motives why the dog is showing the behaviour thoroughly. I’m used to working with dogs that have worked with many other trainers before without success. I also work alongside vets helping to investigate contributing factors that can affect behaviour conducting clinical investigations. I’ve helped 900+ dogs and guardians to live easier and happier lives with their dogs.
Marvin, the fluff in the picture, was my rescue dog and soulmate who taught me so much and, unfortunately, he passed away last year. My eagerness to help animals who have behaviour issues like Marvin just grew since I adopted him. I sought education and certifications to help me to deliver long term results for dogs that struggle.
Aside from practical experience, I also have wide-ranging knowledge of behaviour modification and applied behaviour analysis.
I’m originally from the US, where she graduated from Otterbein University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and Equine Studies.
In 2014, I moved to London to attend the Royal Veterinary College, where I obtained my qualification in 2018. Since graduating, I’ve worked as a small animal veterinarian around Central London.
I’m very interested in behavioural medicine and completed a Post Graduate Diploma with the University of Edinburgh in Clinical Animal Behaviour, awarding me the title of Veterinary Behaviourist.
I’m a Certified Easy Peasy Puppy Specialist and Certified Dog Trainer and I’ve worked with dogs for more than 10 years.
After moving from Germany to the Uk at the age of 19, I started working as a dog walker while at University studying Film. After graduating I decided that the film industry wasn’t for me and made dog walking my full time profession. I later transitioned into becoming a dog trainer by obtaining a professional certification. I have always prided myself on creating an environment for all my dogs that is based on welfare and compassion. I now focus on making the lives of puppies and their parents happier.
I’m graduated in Business Administration and support for the patients with the bookings, helping with any tech issues and organising all the documents you will receive. I’m also Brazilian but at the moment I travel around Europe as a digital nomad. I’m obsessed with organisation and a Notion geek, which you’ll soon realise.
